Elvis Presley - 1935 - 1977 - In the week which saw the anniversary of his death, a small tribute to the man himself, The King of Rock n Roll.

Oddly enough, Elvis shares his birthday with my wonderful Mother-in-Law, DorEEn (1834 - Anytime) - I did try to take a photo but the camera was having none of it!! Though this next picture
of an Elvis impersonator bears an uncanny resemblance to the good lady herself!! (Obviously without the sideburns!)
I was never a great fan of Elvis until I met my wife. Now we share a mutual admiration for a hugely talented man who was simply destroyed by the greed of those supposedly 'guiding' him.

I say - you must have a really old mother-in-law - born 1834!!!
I was in Spain when Elvis died, and did we notice! All other music just stopped being there.
Yes, she is quite old Runee!! (I thought I'd made a typo there for a minute!! lol)
My brother Eric was an Elvis fan and a rocker so I wasn't all that keen on him myself but actually I like a lot of his music but am not a huge fan.
Sorry, not an Elvis fan! Gross picture!!!!!

OMG that picture of 'Elvis' is erkky! I was never an Elvis fan either, but he was a great singer & certainly had 'something'.
What a great choice for E. Good ole Elvis.
The King. Nothing more to say :-)
I can't believe he's been gone for so long! I remember driving home one day and hearing the news on the radio that he'd died. I just couldn't believe it! He sure was/is an icon. My Dad didn't let us go to his movies because he was "sinful" - LOL - man I sure got caught up when I left home! lol
Is this a business link adviser gary? looks like an wx-bank manager to me! LOL!
Ah, the King. Loved him as a kid and still do.
That's one ugly impersonator. Great choice for letter E.
Interesting 'E'... I thought he was alright, tapped along to some of is stuff, mostly the early ones..
Well of course, Elvis! When I was a kid I didn't like him. Now, I can listen to his songs over and over.
My E picture is now posted, too! You can check it out HERE if you have the time. Thanks!
As Elvis would say:
"Thank you very much"
:-)
