It is well known that we Portuguese once sailed the seven seas searching for new lands, wealth and adventures. We were brave in those days and gave the world new worlds!
Luckily I don’t have to sail the big oceans on a small ship to sea the wonders of our world … No Sir, I just need to check with Mr. Tom, the finest host there is, for a trip around the world with SKY WATCH TOURS and with a click here, a click there I am quickly in the USA, England, Brazil, Italy, China, Australia, Finland … well, everywhere.
And on each stop I come to see a little marvel of our world under a great sky! Hope you can come and see my piece of the sky at lenses & visions

Those skys would scare the daylights out of me. They border on what we see around here when tornados blow through.
I think this is going to be the best Sky Watch Friday yet. The things I have seen are very encouraging and the photography is spot on.
I really admire your photography skills and your critical eye for composition, lighting and texture.

These could have been taken in a few place around Hyde.... as for the storm.. well on Tuesday we got back just as the skies opened.
That's very ominous looking!
That's ominous, Gary!
What a fabulous capture of the sky you got, hope it didn't rain too bad.
Gary: It was looking like a very scarry Sky.
An ominous sky, indeed, but stormy skies need to be 'watched', too! Perhaps even more than bright ones. Nice Sky Watch photos.
I hope you got inside in time! Or to put it another way - I hope they didn't catch you as good as you caught them.
PS Re your own comment: I'm afraid your right...
Rained last night then? Now there's a surprise! LOL!
Perfect entry for skywatch… all I can say is that “you’ll be the sun in somebody else’s sky”…LoL! Mine’s up too hope you can drop by…
So dramatic.
I love a good storm! Was this as potent smelling as it was looking?
Hope all are okay.
Great photos!
Great sky watch post!!!!
That's some mighty storm - hope you weren't out when it hit.
That's one cranky looking sky. Hope the storm wasn't as mean as the clouds imply. Dramatic shots.
Oh how I love a good storm. Great captures!
