ABC Wednesday - X is for, erm, X is for....ahh, I know...

Xyloplastic ornaments!
(Google it above!!)

I don't know about you, but wifey and I love to collect 'genuine' wooden ornaments.

You can imagine our horror and dismay when we discovered these two purchases were xyloplastic imitations!!

I know the feeling. My mother once went to the USA and returned with a pendant, for my wife that was supposedly made by the Hopi indians. When I turned it over, which is what I do, the "Made in Taiwan" stamp hit me between the eyes.
Noice collection though

Shame about those ornaments - they're very attractive though.

Someone else (can't remember who) also used that word root - xylo, so I'm sitting here right now feeling a lot smarter than I actually am...

Hope you are having a great X day.

Well, I did search google for definition and came up with: "Formed of wood pulp by molds; relating to casts made of wood pulp in molds." Thus it isn't such a bad deal after all. WOOD PULP!

Good entry!

For 'X', "Louis" was eXpatriate.

"Louis" thanks you for your visit to San Francisco Bay Daily Photo.

"Louis" is up past his cowbell in a work project for the next several weeks, so he may stop by and take a look but not sign the 'guest registry'.
